I Officially Have....

2 weeks left here in London. Surprisingly, I think I'm going to miss it. Friday I paid my last week of rent and gave my landlord/letting agent my 2 weeks notice....he as well as I was shocked that time flew by that quickly. He told me though, if I ever needed a place to stay in London, to give him a call. Awwwww, makes me a little teary eyed thinking about it. But, anyway, London has proved to be a better experience for me than I thought it would. There was plenty of drama to make put me in the nut house, but I guess it's true what they say "what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger".

I always have a feeling of home when....

I see a familiar face from Spelhouse roaming the "streets of success" in a land that's foreign to me. I was brainstorming with my partner in a coffee shop near my place of internpolyment this afternoon, off of Tottenham Court Road, when out of a sea of British folks clad in their normal black uniforms, I spy a fellow alumna. Her name, don't remember. Her class, a year under me. Her major, escapes me. Her dorm, HH PHI BETA of course. What shes doing here, doesn't matter. Did I catch up to her in time to talk to her, no. Maybe our paths will cross again, hopefully. But just to know that I'm not alone in this vast country, is very comforting.
